Girlfriends Day Bouldering at Corkan
Ladies, get out and enjoy the relaxing challenge of a brisk climb at Corkan Family Fun Center, building 449, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Jan. 21. Enjoy climbing no higher than 8 feet and moving from side to side.
The cost is $3.50 per person. The fee includes climbing, equipment and instruction.

Children Make Valentine's Day Cards
Children can get a jump on making Valentine's Day cards with Kathy Anhorn at the George P. Hays Library Children's Room. Activity begins at 4:30 p.m. Jan. 28 .
Activity is in partnership with the Child, Youth & School Services EDGE Program. Twenty-five children will be able to participate per session. "Dive-in Movie" at Tominac Indoor Pool
Bring your floats and enjoy the movie "Ice Age" as you lounge in the pool at Tominac Fitness Center, building 919 at Hunter Army Airfield. The fun begins at 6 p.m. Jan. 29. There is no charge.

"Ground Hog Day" at Stewart Lanes
Feb. 2 is Groundhog Day, and Stewart Lanes Bowling Center, building 450, is celebrating by rolling prices back to matinee rates for the whole day. Pay just $1.75 per game per person/$1.75 shoe rental all day. Call 767-4273 for more information.
Stewart/Hunter Continental Pheasant Shoot
The registration deadline is Feb. 3 for the Stewart/Hunter Continental Pheasant Shoot, scheduled for Feb. 13 at Stewart's Taro Drop Zone (A1), FS Road 56.
Group 1 starts at 8:30 a.m. and Group 2 starts at 12:30 p.m. A drawing for each of 40 available slots will be held Feb. 5. Active Duty Soldiers have priority and all remaining slots will be filled by retirees and civilians. Stewart permit, state hunting license and hunter safety card are not required for hunt.

"Underground Railroad" Sign-up Deadline
The deadline is Feb. 4 to register for the Youth Sponsorship/Kids on the Move "Underground Railroad" trip on Feb. 6. Registered CYSS youth in grades 4-12 will receive round trip transportation to the Savannah Historic District to visit the Owens Thomas House and the 1st African Baptist Church, where they will learn how slaves were able to gain freedom through the "Underground Railroad." Each Child/Youth is required to bring $4 to cover entrance fees.

CYSS Transition Counselor Institute Workshop
Child, Youth & School Services, along with Military Child Education Coalition, and hosted by Savannah Chatham County School System will conduct a workshop for school counselors from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 at Woodsville-Tompkins Center in Savannah.
The workshop provides information on how to support military students when transitioning between schools. Training is open to guidance professionals, school administrators and other caring adults interested in learning more about military children.
There is no cost to participate. Course materials and breakfast/lunch provided for both days.

Bahamas Cruise Trip Sign-Up Continues
The registration deadline is Feb. 16 for an Aug. 30-Sept. 4 trip to the Bahamas. Depart from Fort Stewart Leisure Activities Center, building 443 for Jacksonville and sail from there for a five-day Key West and Nassau Cruise.
