DESCRIPTION:
On Saturday- March 20, 2010 from 10am-4pm; Fort King George State
Historic Site will be hosting their annual Scottish Heritage Day
program. There will be numerous demonstrations including pioneer skills,
artillery and musket drills, Scottish cooking, music and dance, crafts
and domestic skills, Highland weapons, 18th century merchants, Native
Americans, and much more. There will also be a battle reenactment at
2pm. Purchase a musket raffle ticket for $5. This is an excellent
opportunity to come learn about and celebrate Darien's first
settlers.
